These stores feed families, employ neighbors, and keep culture alive. But when shopping moved to apps, many of them were left behind.
Waly Market started with a simple observation: the big delivery platforms serve the big names well, but the local stores that communities actually depend on, the family-run stores from every culture, are overlooked, buried, or priced out.
So we built a platform where they come first. One app where you can order dinner from the restaurant down the block, restock your pantry from the local grocer, find the exact ingredients your family recipes call for, and pick up something from the shop on the avenue, delivered to your door or ready for pickup, tracked live the whole way.
We're starting in New York City, home to some of the most vibrant immigrant communities and independent stores in the country. And we're building Waly Market alongside them.
