Prohibited Items Policy

To keep Waly Market safe and legal, the following items may not be listed, sold, or delivered through the Platform. This applies to all store types: restaurants, grocery stores, international markets, and retail stores.
1. Prohibited Items
- Alcohol of any kind (not permitted at this time);
- Tobacco, nicotine, vaping products, and e-cigarettes;
- Cannabis, CBD products, and drug paraphernalia;
- Illegal drugs and controlled substances;
- Prescription medications and pharmacy-only products;
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, and weapons of any kind (including knives sold as weapons);
- Live animals;
- Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods;
- Hazardous materials: flammable liquids, toxic chemicals, compressed gases, and items restricted from transport;
- Uncertified lithium-ion batteries and uncertified e-mobility devices or their batteries;
- Adult content and sexually explicit materials;
- Gift cards, cash, lottery tickets, and financial instruments;
- Age-restricted items that cannot be lawfully verified through the Platform;
- Items that infringe intellectual property rights;
- Any item whose sale or delivery violates federal, New York State, or New York City law.
2. Food Safety Restrictions
- Food must come from licensed, inspected food establishments;
- No home-prepared food from unlicensed kitchens;
- Perishable items must be packaged appropriately for safe transport.
3. Enforcement
- Listings that violate this policy will be removed without notice;
- Repeat or serious violations may lead to store suspension or permanent removal from the Platform;
- Illegal items may be reported to the authorities;
- We may update this list at any time as laws and our services change (for example, if licensed alcohol delivery is added in the future, it will have its own rules).
